Nowadays, Matador Automotive Czech, seated in the town of Liberec, runs the initial phase of serial production of parts for the automotive industry. The company in Liberec is a member of Matador Holding a.s. and is now a fresh foreign investment of the Matador Group. The investment exceeds 23 million EUR, of which 5.5 million EUR is the value of buildings in addition to modern technological equipment with automated welding factory lines and other equipment, worth together nearly 18 million EUR. Matador Automotive Czech already created 65 new jobs for workers from Liberec and its surroundings and in the near future this number will grow to projected more than 120 workers. In the first phase of the start-up production is the major customer the car manufacturer Škoda Auto, located in Mladá Boleslav, as well as other users of welded assemblies for the automotive industry. Matador Automotive Czech offers its employed staff permanent labour contracts with the possibility of work and further education in the operation of technologically advanced machinery. Production of the pilot plant already produces the first two sets, to which new sets for the upcoming projects of customers will shortly be added. Later in this remaining year, the sales volume of almost 6 million EUR is projected and in the next three years the total volume of production reaches 30 million EUR, projected until 2014. With such foreign investment, the Group of Matador Holding strengthens its stable position in the network of automotive industry suppliers. This was also reaffirmed by the achievement of the "A" rating of suppliers in the audit, executed by the Volkswagen Group in the parent company Matador Automotive Vráble a.s., with which Matador Automotive Czech will closely cooperate in the field of production.
